Atua na interface entre a História e as Relações Internacionais com foco no patrimônio cultural. É líder do grupo de pesquisa Cnpq – Patrimônio e Relações Internacionais. Pesquisador do LAPA – Laboratório de Patrimônio da UFJF e colaborador do CITCEM – Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar “Cultura, Espaço e Memória” da Universidade de Letras do Porto (ULP). Atualmente é professor de Patrimônio Cultural no curso de História da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF) e leciona no Programa de Pós Graduação da mesma universidade. Coordena a Cátedra Sérgio Vieira de Mello (CSVM/UFJF) Gestão (2022-2023). Coordena o curso de Especialização em História e Cultura no Brasil Contemporâneo (Ead) do CEAD-UFJF (2022-2024). Possui experiência na área de História política e bens culturais com ênfase em Patrimônio Cultural, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: patrimônio e soft power; bens culturais; tráfico ilícito de bens culturais e colecionáveis criminogênicos; patrimônios da humanidade; educação patrimonial; história política da direita brasileira e Integralismo.

He works at the interface between History and International Relations with a focus on cultural heritage. He is the leader of the Cnpq research group – Heritage and International Relations. Researcher at LAPA – UFJF’s Heritage Laboratory and collaborator at CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Research Center “Culture, Space and Memory” at the University of Porto (ULP). He is currently a professor of Cultural Heritage in the History course at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and teaches in the Graduate Program of the same university. Coordinates the Sérgio Vieira de Mello Chair (CSVM/UFJF) Management (2022-2023). He coordinates the Specialization course in History and Culture in Contemporary Brazil (Ead) at CEAD-UFJF (2022-2024). He has experience in the field of Political History and Cultural Property with emphasis on Cultural Heritage, working mainly on the following topics: heritage and soft power; cultural property; illicit trafficking of cultural property and criminogenic collectibles; world heritage; heritage education; political history of the Brazilian right and Integralism.
