Doutora em Estudos Literários, Culturais e Interartísticos pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, com a tese intitulada “Poesia épica feminina em Portugal: os Memoriais de Soror Maria de Mesquita Pimentel (século XVII)”. Possui licenciatura em Letras (Língua Portuguesa e Literatura de Língua Portuguesa) pela Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte e mestrado em Estudos da Linguagem, com ênfase em Literatura Comparada, pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Atualmente, seu principal interesse de investigação é a Literatura Portuguesa dos séculos XVII e XVIII, mais especificamente a literatura conventual feminina e a poesia épica de autoria feminina. Também colabora no estudo e transcrição de obras manuscritas dos séculos XVI-XVIII.

She has a degree in Languages (Portuguese Language and Portuguese Literature) from the State University of Rio Grande do Norte and a master’s degree in Language Studies, with an emphasis on Comparative Literature, from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Currently, her main research interest is Portuguese Literature of the 17th and 18th centuries, more specifically conventual women’s literature and female-authored epic poetry. He also collaborates in the study and transcription of manuscript works from the 16th-18th centuries.
