Fabiano Bracht é Doutor em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto e investigador do CITCEM, Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar «Cultura, Espaço e Memória». Os seus interesses de investigação incluem a História da Medicina, Farmácia e Ciências Naturais no âmbito da construção e circulação do conhecimento científico. Sem seus trabalhos tem abordado temas como as farmacopeias produzidas no contexto do Império Português e a produção e circulação de conhecimentos sobre medicamentos. A sua experiência profissional inclui mais de dez anos de investigação científica em diversas instituições, trabalhando em centros de investigação como o CITCEM (FLUP), Departamento de História da Universidade da Colúmbia Britânica (UBC) e a Cátedra Jaime Cortesão (USP). Desde 2021 é investigador no Projeto ERC “RUTTER: Making the Earth Global”, na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.

Fabiano Bracht holds a PhD in History from the Faculty of Arts, University of Porto and is a researcher at CITCEM, the “Culture, Space and Memory” Transdisciplinary Research Center. His research interests include the History of Medicine, Pharmacy and Natural Sciences in the context of the construction and circulation of scientific knowledge. His work has addressed issues such as the pharmacopoeias produced in the context of the Portuguese Empire and the production and circulation of knowledge about medicines. His professional experience includes over ten years of scientific research in various institutions, working in research centers such as CITCEM (FLUP), Department of History at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the Jaime Cortesão Chair (USP). Since 2021 he is a researcher in the ERC Project “RUTTER: Making the Earth Global”, at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon.
