Paula Montes Leal é licenciada em História, variante Arte, pela FLUP. pós-graduada em Ciências Documentais – Arquivo (FLUP) e mestre em Ciências da Informação e da Documentação – Área de Arquivos, pela Universidade de Évora.
Integrou o grupo de trabalho formado para a instalação do Museu do Douro, tendo participado no «Projecto de Inventariação do Arquivo Histórico do Instituto do Vinho do Porto». Ainda neste âmbito, coordenou o «Projecto de Inventariação do Arquivo da Casa do Douro» e ocupou o cargo de coordenadora do Centro de Informação do Museu do Douro. Foi docente no Curso de Especialização em Ciências Documentais – Arquivos da Universidade Portucalense e responsável técnica pelo Arquivo Histórico Casa Ferreirinha.
Actualmente, coordena projectos de organização de arquivos na Symington e na Super Bock. Foi investigadora do GEHVID. É investigadora do CITCEM.

Paula Montes Leal has a degree in History, Art variant, from FLUP. She has a post-graduate degree in Documentary Sciences – Archives (FLUP) and a Master in Information and Documentation Sciences – Area of Archives, from the University of Évora.
He was part of the working group formed for the installation of the Douro Museum and participated in the “Project for the Inventorying of the Historical Archive of the Port Wine Institute”. Still within this scope, she coordinated the “Project to Inventory the Archive of the Casa do Douro” and held the position of coordinator of the Information Center of the Museum of Douro. She was a lecturer in the Specialization Course in Documentary Sciences – Archives at Universidade Portucalense and technically responsible for the Casa Ferreirinha Historical Archive.
He is currently coordinating archival organization projects at Symington and Super Bock. She was a researcher at GEHVID. She is a researcher at CITCEM.
