Doutorado em História da Arte Portuguesa na FLUP em 2017 com a Tese Imagens na Imagem em Movimento. Documentos e Expressões.
Desenvolve investigação sobre o cinema e a imagem em movimento e sobre a sua utilização como recurso para os estudos em história da arte e do património, bem como sobre a cultura visual, a relação som-imagem e a história da arte e da arquitetura da época contemporânea, sendo autor de diversas publicações nestas áreas. Nos seus interesses de investigação encontram-se ainda a media art e as relações da imagem em movimento e do património com o turismo e a publicidade.

Ao longo do seu percurso orientou diversos trabalhos de mestrado e de doutoramento e participa em vários projetos relacionados com as suas áreas de investigação.

PhD in Portuguese Art History at FLUP in 2017 with the Thesis Images in the Moving Image. Documents and Expressions.
He conducts research on film and the moving image and on its use as a resource for studies in art and heritage history, as well as on visual culture, the sound-image relationship and the history of art and architecture of the contemporary era, and is the author of several publications in these areas. His research interests also include media art and the relationship of the moving image and heritage with tourism and advertising.

Throughout his career, he has oriented several master’s and doctoral theses and participates in several projects related to his research areas.
