Helena Lima is Associated Professor at Department of Communication and Information Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. Her PhD thesis is on “Oporto newspapers and challenges in the Press: Tradition and Breakthroughs”. Main research interests are media history and the topics related to news contents and formats, as well as digital journalism, professional practices and interactivity in news websites. Helena Lima is also the coordinator of collaborative lab (LACLIS) with a focus on health literacy and communication in an interdisciplinary environment. Helena Lima published several books, book chapters, and articles in academic peer reviewed journals. Helena Lima is also tutor of several doctoral and master dissertations.
