The course’s general objective is to present and discuss themes and scientific approaches on Cultural Heritage and Landscape studies, as elements that promote the development and quality of life of societies.

In this sense, this summer school intends to develop the following themes, from the theoretical and practical learning points:

1 – Rhythms and values of Architecture in the Landscape;

2 – World Heritage: strategies and challenges;

3 – The landscape between material and immaterial heritage;

4 – Transboundary landscapes: cultural tourism and regional development;

5 – Creation, development, implementation and management of tourist-cultural projects;

6 – The image in the contemporary construction of the landscape: photography and film as media.
