This exhibition is the result of a public call, bringing together works by sociologists and/or photographers who combine the social, political, and artistic dimensions of photography to observe Greater Porto from particular themes: practices, discourses, and representations of identity; housing and domestic space; border places, between-places, no-man’s-places; sociabilities, rituals, and everyday life; public space: uses and dynamics of subversion and contestation.

In addition to the exhibition, the parallel program includes the following activities:

• Guided tour through the eyes of sociology
• Workshop guided by Casa da Arquitetura

-September 24:

• Debate “Where are we going, Port?”

Some of the works on display were authored by CITCEM researchers.
