The II ABM will provide the opportunity for an instigating proposal focused on the theoretical and conceptual debate, reflexive and epistemological, around the “syncretism to integration” of Archivology, Librarianship and Museology, from the understanding of the scientific model. Its theme points towards overcoming the idea of disciplinary and paradigmatic consolidation originated in knowledge in its specialization, as well as proposes to present consistent scientific discussions and put into perspective the integration of the referred areas.

With this event, the aforementioned Universities of Portugal and Brazil and other partner and invited international institutions will be consolidating, for the second time, the comprehensive space for theoretical, epistemological, technical, practical, methodological and ethical reflection within the interdisciplinary and knowledge field of information.

In this edition, ABM opens a call for papers evaluated by the Scientific Committee, in addition to the participation of invited speakers from Portugal, Brazil and other countries.

Organized from an international cooperation agreement between U.PORTO and UFBA, with the participation of renowned researchers, the ABM follows with an international Scientific Committee guaranteeing the quality of the contributions.
