Until February 19, 2023, it is open to receive proposals for sessions and papers related to the XLII APHES Meeting.

This year the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto will host the event on June 16 and 17, 2023.

The theme of the XLII Meeting is “Work and Social Norms”, and Jan Lucassen (Emeritus Professor at the Free University of Amsterdam) will give the inaugural lecture entitled “The story of work: work for historians”. Other thematic approaches to Economic and Social History will be welcome!
